This site is not on a platform. I own the server it runs on and everything on it. Nobody can change the rules on me.
That is the whole point. Every platform a creator posts on can change its terms, quietly throttle your reach, or close your account on a bad morning with no explanation and no appeal. That is the deal everywhere, and it is fine right up until it is not. If every account I have vanished tomorrow, this site would still be here.
What that gets you
Pages that load fast because there is nothing in the way. No pop-ups, no cookie banner, no tracking. Nothing here is trying to follow you somewhere else.
What it cost
Most of my spare time this year, and it will keep costing that. Some of it will break in public, which is fine. Owning the thing means owning the parts that go wrong.
